What is Project Playhouse?

Playhouse Project is a unique team building opportunity that gives businesses, churches, and civic groups a meaningful, and hands-on experience. They work with L-C Valley Habitat for Humanity (LCV HFH) to build playhouses for local children, who could not afford to purchase one.

The event raises funds to support LCV HFH’s mission of building and repairing affordable homes in the LC Valley.

Sponsor a Playhouse Project

To sponsor a project, companies contribute a minimum  $1,500 to support the cost of their group’s build day and Habitat’s affordable home ownership programs and services.

Sponsoring companies work directly with LCV HFH’s staff to customize their build experience with options such as:

  • Schedule – Flexible scheduling with half- and full-day options available seven days a week.
  • Location – Come to our administrative office or we could come to you at a location of your choosing.
  • Size – We accommodate groups small and large (and yes, even extra-large).
  • Skill Level  – Inclusive to all skills and abilities with a variety of tasks to choose from such as painting, cutting, and assembly. Our professional staff will guide you throughout the entire process.
  • Materials – We provide all materials for construction.

Playhouse Project is a unique volunteer opportunity that gives groups and individuals a meaningful, creative, and hands-on day of building playhouses that are then donated to local children.

Volunteers have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of others and to build teamwork among co-workers, friends and family by building a playhouse together.

Receive a Playhouse

Playhouses are built with love for children to explore, play, and grow with a space of their own. We donate playhouses to local children organizations and families. To learn more about receiving a playhouse, click here.
