Become a Cornerstone Donor:

Cornerstone program makes sure we have enough to start each partner home. Join other supporters around the L-C Valley with a commitment to annually donate to L-C Valley Habitat. Faith Groups:

Churches, temples, mosques, and coalitions of diverse faith groups can partner to put their faith in action by providing significant support to Habitat for Humanity’s local and global mission each year through the contribution of financial resources and volunteers.

• Sponsorship: Sponsor a roof, a room, or a whole house. A group of congregations can form a coalition by inviting other congregations, businesses, and individuals to join them as sponsors.
• Fundraising: Take a special offering or hold a fundraising event and donate the proceeds to Habitat.
• Collect: Organize a Sunday school congregational drive to collect family tool kits or job site supplies. Make and serve lunches for volunteers on the job site.

Combined Fund Drive:

The Combined Fund Drive (CFD) is Washington State’s workplace giving program for active and retired public employees. State and higher education employees are invited to give to the charity of their choice through payroll contribution and agency fundraising events.The Combined Fund Drive campaign runs annually from the beginning of October to the end of December and is administered in over 250 different agencies and higher education institutions.

A Washington state employee can safely and easily through the CFD’s online system, or with a paper contribution form in any of the following ways:

• Monthly Contribution
  A recurring amount will be taken out of each paycheck until the employee chooses to stop.
• One-time contribution
  A single donation is collected and distributed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
• Limited Time contribution
  Donations will be taken out of each paycheck for a set amount of time as defined by the employee.
• Personal check

Legacy or Planned Gifts

A planned gift is a wonderful way to create a lasting legacy for charitable institutions that matter most to you. These donors are a special group of supporters whose foresight and support—at any giving level—will help L-C Valley Habitat for Humanity (LCV HFH) continue our mission for generations to come. Gifts vary in size and scope but all serve a common purpose. The vision of LCV HFH is “a world where everyone has a decent place to live.” Habitat for Humanity’s role in realizing that vision is expressed in its mission: “Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.” A legacy gift can help realize this goal.

 Make a Charitable Gift Through Your Estate

Donors can elect to ensure LCV HFH’s work of building homes, communities and hope far into the future by including us in their estate plan. These supporters make a valuable contribution to the long-term mission of LCV HFH. Additionally, certain types of deferred gifts may provide current tax reductions, help avoid possible income tax, lower estate taxes, or provide income during the donor’s lifetime.
