Kylie King, owner of Bumper Crop Coffee, is a frequent customer of the Habitat ReStore and she loves shopping at the ReStore.

“It’s easy on the budget, and you can see the potential to up-cycle these items, and (supporting the Habitat) also helps the community,” she said. 

When she moved from Juliaetta back to Lewiston, she and her husband came into the ReStore to look for furniture and they picked out many different items and took home a pickup truck full of items.

She loves seeing the examples of upcycled items on social media.

“It’s wonderful to see what was once the base and then to see what it could be, “ she said. 

She also enjoys what a great value items at the Habitat offer, such as furniture that has such a great quality. But great savings aren’t the only benefit to buying used furniture.

“Before, when I’ve spent like $1,000 on a couch, it’s an expensive investment and you don’t want dog hair all over it. But when you buy used furniture, having our little dog Rosie on the couch just taking a nap is precious. It’s much easier to enjoy your furniture when it’s a fraction of your paycheck.” -- Kylie King

 She’s purchased items from the Habitat ReStore for both her home and Bumper Crop Coffee, which she owns.

She has also bought some slipper chairs from the ReStore for the kitchen for their comfort. 

“They were in fantastic condition for just $40,” she said.
